Bookings

All reservations have to be made via our booking portal found under https://rentle.store/togetheroutside/shop

if you call to book, we will refer you to this platform.
A reservation is valid from the time of payment and the blocking of the deposit on your account.

Booking Extensions have to be made via the link sent in your booking confirmation.

Payment

Can be made via credit card on our online booking platform.
We offer alternative payment methods for orders above DKK 5000.

Pick-up and drop-off

Bikes can be picked up at Sindshvilevej 4, 2000 Frederiksberg, Copenhagen.

Walk down the parking lot to find our bike shelter between 09:00 and 21:00.

Later return is charged with DKK 300 on your deposit as it requires turning off an alarm and staying up late.

Liability for damages

It is the renter's responsibility to ensure that the bikes are stored and used in a proper and safe manner. The renter is liable for any damage while they are under their responsibility. We expect each driver to have watched our video instruction manuals which are sent to you by email upon booking. You can also find them on our website.
 

If a bike needs repairing you are welcome to contact KGS Have Cykler at Sølvgade or Cafe Velo at Nansensgade or Camilla Cykler at Godthåbsvej or Baisikeli at Ingerslevsgade for repairs. If the repair is needed due to an accident or a behaviour contrary to our instructions in the video, the cost of the repair will be deducted from the deposit.

Damages that are your responsibility to pay for, unless you can prove that it was material damage not caused by you are for example:
 

• Bent mudfender, usually caused by tipping of the vehicle or uncareful parking

• Broken throttle, usually caused by excessively forceful use of the throttle

• Damage on the frame, including scratches on the paint, usually caused by tipping

4.1 Cleaning Fee

​If you return a cargo bike with trash, dirt, sand, dog hair or other undesired leftovers, you will be charged DKK 250 on your deposit as a cleaning fee.

Liability for theft

Theft of the bike, the battery, or any other gear is the liability of the renter. We will take the amount to replace the lost parts from the affected bike and other bikes deposits and send an invoice for the residual amount. Further:
 

1. If you report the theft / loss to us we will only charge you for the replacement amount for the part(s) affected.

2. If you do not report theft / loss of any part, we will take the replacement amount and an additional charge of DKK 500 per hour of work to order and replace the loss.

3. If the bike or battery reappears within 30 days, we will not charge you the amount exceeding the deposit for your bike. We will still keep the deposit to cover our efforts to retrieve the stolen bike or battery.

4. The amounts we charge for lost bikes and gear are as follows:

   • Family e-Bike, Christiania Model e light: DKK 22000 minus DKK 2000 per year since manufacturing, but a minimum of DKK 15000.

   • Taxi e-Bike, Christiania Model T, DKK 35000 minus DKK 3500 per year since manufacturing, but a minimum of DKK 15000.

   • e-Bike Centurion Roadie: DKK 15000 minus DKK 2000 per year since manufacturing, but a minimum of DKK 7500.

   • Regular Bicycles: DKK 6000, minus DKK 1000 per year since manufacturing, but a minimum of DKK 2500

   • Bike Trailer Hinterher: DKK 15000, minus DKK 2000 per year since manufacturing, but a minimum of DKK 7500.

   • Batteries: Price of a new battery -10% per year in service of the lost battery.

   • Helmets: DKK 200 per helmet

   • Kryptonite New York Chain locks: DKK 1000.

Delivery & Collection

We offer delivery and collection of the bikes and gear to your accommodation or a third agreed location of your choice within an 8 km radius of Sindshvilevej 4.

A request for delivery or collection has to be made at least 48 hours before the booking starts to grant us enough time to coordinate. Be aware that more spontaneous collections are offered at a higher price.

We reserve the right to reject delivery requests upon which the customer can choose to cancel the whole order penalty-free.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% of the total rental price. Cancellations made less than one week before the scheduled pick-up will be charged with upto 50%.

Personal Data

The information we collect from you in connection with bike rental will only be used to administer your rental agreement and will not be shared with third parties.

Choice of law and disputes

These terms and conditions are subject to Danish law.
Any disputes arising in connection with these terms and conditions will be resolved by the Danish courts.
