USER MANUAL FOR THE
TAXI E-BIKE

STEP 01
HOW TO LOCK / UNLOCK

The keys to the bike are colour coded. Make sure, to have the battery key on the locked position, when leaving the bike, so the battery cannot be pulled out and stolen.

There are 2 breaks, the left one being the front brake and the right one rear brake. When biking try to use them evenly. To use the parking brake, hold the front brake on the left and push down the silver knob

HOW TO GET IN WITHOUT LIFTING YOUR FEET SO MUCH

There is a special feature on the bike to make the footrest lower to make getting into the bike easier. To lower the footrest you have to pull out the lever on both sides of the bike, near the footrest, and turn it a bit. After that you press the footrest down and get on the bike. Getting back up you just do everything in reverse.

HOW TO USE THE ASSIST FOR THE BIKE

You can turn on the screen with the button that is below the arrows. With the arrows you can adjust the assist level that you can see on the right hand side of the screen. There is also a light button above the arrows.

HOW TO REMOVE THE COVER

For the cover, you can either remove the front part by pushing it backwards or removing the whole thing. To remove the whole cover, start with removing the levers, there are 4 of those in total, 2 on both sides near the front wheels. And put all of the levers below to the placeholder spots, so the cover will stay lower.

HOW TO USE THE GEARS

In the right hand side of the handlebar, there are levers to adjust the gears, you can press the levers with your thumb. The big lever in front is to shift down, and hidden below the handlebar the lever is for shifting up. Remember to only shift gears while pedaling!

WHAT TO DO AS A PASSENGER

When getting in to the box, make sure to step on the middle part, not the front, to not lose balance. It is extra safe to wait for the bike driver to be seated, then the bike cannot lift.
