There are two codes provided: one to open the battery compartment and another to open the big chain lock. Inside the battery compartment, you will find an additional key for the wheel lock. The battery is secured with two locks—one is a padlock, and the other is the battery’s own lock. It is important to note that the key for the wheel lock will not come out unless the wheel is locked.

STEP 04

ADJUSTING THE SEAT
*visuals at 01:33 in the video above

Once the bike is unlocked and the engine is running, you can adjust the seat. The seat is equipped with a quick-release mechanism. To adjust, open the quick release, set the seat to your preferred height, and then close it again. For better balance, it is recommended to set the seat slightly lower than you would on a regular bike.

STEP 07

To make sure the engine is working, turn on the bike by pressing the power button for two to three seconds until the screen lights up. If the screen does not turn on, it could mean that the battery switch is off. You can either remove the battery and manually flip the switch, or reach behind the battery and toggle the switch without removing it.

The bike also includes arrows to change the assist level, 7 gears and a horn button.
